AI game makers compared

Every fact about another tool comes from its own website as of November 2026, linked below; prices and limits change, so check their pages before you choose. Go Bananas is ours, and we say where the others fit better.

What Go Bananas is for
Going from a sentence to a game you can send someone, as fast as possible: describe it, play it a few minutes later in the browser, change it by chatting, and share the link. Your first game needs no account, playing never does, and friends join multiplayer games from a link on their own phones. It also works inside ChatGPT and Claude. See how it works.
When another tool fits better
- You want a project in a game engine to keep developing yourself, or to ship to app stores: Summer Engine (Godot-compatible), SEELE AI (Unity, Godot, Unreal exports) or GDevelop are built around that.
- You want 2D art and animation made for you, character by character: that's Makko AI's focus.
- You want a free engine with no AI limits at all: GDevelop's engine is open source and free; only its AI has credits.
