A free AI game maker: describe a game, then play it
Type what you want to play, in your own words. Go Bananas writes the game, and a few minutes later it runs in your browser, on a phone or a computer. Change it by chatting, share it with a link, and play it with friends.

How it works
1. Describe the game. Say what the player does, how they win or lose, and how it looks. Two to five sentences is plenty: "A side-scrolling platformer where a fox collects acorns and avoids hedgehogs. Three lives. Bright cartoon colors."
2. Wait a few minutes. The AI writes the whole game: the code, the graphics drawn in code, the sounds and the controls for both keyboards and touch screens. It usually takes 3 to 6 minutes, and up to 10 for big games. You can play other games meanwhile.
3. Play it. The game opens in your browser. Nothing to download or install, on a phone or a computer.
4. Change it by chatting. Ask for what you want different, in plain words: "make the enemies slower", "add a second level", "add a high score table". A change usually takes a minute or two.
5. Share it. Publish it and send the link. Anyone can play it, without an account.
What you can make
Anything that fits in a browser tab: arcade and casual games, puzzles, racing, shooters, strategy and simulations, quizzes, card and board games, in 2D or 3D. Games can be single-player or multiplayer, with friends joining from a link on their own phones. For worlds with depth, see the 3D game maker.
You can add your own pictures, 3D models and sounds, or let the AI draw everything in code and use the free built-in sound effects. Stuck for an idea? There are 40 game ideas you can make with one click.
Maker, generator or creator?
People call this an AI game maker, an AI game generator or an AI game creator. On Go Bananas they are the same thing: you write a description, and the AI turns it into a game you can play, keep changing and share. It's not a template with a few options: every game is written from your description, so two people asking for "a racing game" get different games.
What it costs
Your first game is free, with no account needed. A free account adds enough tokens for about three more games, and changing a game by chatting uses a few tokens each time. If you want to make more, there's a one-time token pack and a monthly plan. Playing games is always free, yours and everyone else's.
Questions
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe the game in plain words and the AI writes all the code. If you can code, you can read and change it, but you never have to.
Do I need an account?
Not for your first game, and never to play games. To change a game, publish it and make more, you create a free account with your email. No credit card.
How long does it take to make a game?
Usually 3 to 6 minutes, and up to 10 for big games. Each change you ask for afterwards takes a minute or two.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. Games run in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, with touch controls on touch screens. You can make games from your phone too.
Can I use it from ChatGPT or Claude?
Yes. Go Bananas works as an app in ChatGPT and as a connector in Claude: ask "make me a game where..." and you get a link to play it. Setup steps are on the connect page.
